Social Media Platforms (Pinterest)
Pinterest Tracking Disclosure
We use Pinterest’s tracking technologies to monitor customer interactions with our products from Pinterest to checkout. This means if you engage with our store through Pinterest (e.g., clicking on a Pin or interacting with a product), Pinterest may collect data about your activity, including browsing behavior and purchase actions. This data helps improve personalized recommendations and advertising.
How Pinterest Tracks Data:
- Pinterest may use cookies and similar technologies to follow your interactions.
- If Pinterest’s tracking tools, such as the Pinterest Tag, are implemented in our store, they may collect details of your browsing and purchasing behavior.
- Data collected may be shared with Pinterest to optimize user experience and marketing effectiveness.
Managing Your Privacy: You can adjust your privacy preferences through Pinterest’s settings
Social Media Platforms (Meta)
We use Meta Business Tools, including the Meta Pixel, to understand how visitors use our site and to measure and improve our advertising on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. Through these tools, we share certain “Event Data” with Meta Platforms.
Event Data We Share Under the Conservative Tier Our current integration is set to the Conservative data‑sharing level. This means we may share the following information with Meta when you consent to tracking:
- Page and product views
- Items added to or removed from your cart
- Search terms used on our site
- Customer Click ID
- Customer Agent ID
- Payment information (transaction metadata only — such as order value and currency; we do not share full credit card numbers)
- Initiated checkout events
- Purchase events
Purpose of Data Sharing We use this information to:
- Measure and report on the performance of our ads
- Attribute conversions to our campaigns
- Create and use audiences for ad targeting and retargeting
- Improve ad delivery and personalization on Meta products
We do not sell this information. Data shared with Meta is processed in accordance with Meta’s Privacy Policy.
Consent for Meta Tracking Our site uses a consent management tool that blocks the Meta Pixel and related cookies until you choose to accept them via our cookie banner. This means no data is sent to Meta until you have given your consent. If you decline, Meta tracking will remain inactive for your session. You can change your consent preferences at any time using the cookie settings link in our site footer or by adjusting your browser settings.
Off‑Facebook Activity The event data we send to Meta is part of what Facebook calls “off‑Facebook activity” — information that businesses and organizations share with Meta about your interactions with their websites and apps. You can view a summary of this activity in your Facebook account and choose to disconnect it from your profile by visiting your Off‑Facebook Activity settings here.
Third‑Party Notice Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect or receive information from our website and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. You can opt out of the collection and use of information for ad targeting by visiting AboutAds.info/choices or YourOnlineChoices.eu, and you can adjust your Facebook Ad Preferences and Off‑Facebook Activity settings at any time.
Jurisdiction‑Specific Information Where required by law (for example, in the EU/UK), we obtain your consent before placing or reading Meta cookies or similar technologies. For visitors in the EU/EEA and UK, in relation to certain Event Data collected via the Meta Business Tools and transmitted to Meta for the purposes described above, we and Meta are “joint controllers” at the point of collection and transmission. That joint processing is governed by Meta’s Controller Addendum(s). After transmission, Meta acts as an independent controller for its subsequent processing. For measurement and analytics services, Meta may process certain data as our processor under its Data Processing Terms.
Sensitive Data We do not intentionally send Meta Business Tools any information about children under 13 or any sensitive categories of data (including health information or financial account numbers). If you believe such data has been shared inadvertently, contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate action.
